Description
Le pomelo, Citrus paradisi, est un hybride du pamplemousse, Citrus grandis, et d’une orange de Chine. C’est une variété de pamplemousse qui a été découverte au XIIIème siècle à Porto Rico. Seule espèce d’agrume à ne pas être originaire d’Asie, le pomelo est observé, depuis le XVIIIème siècle, aux Barbades.
